The community room has now been set up for other uses, so exams that were scheduled there will now take place in C002.
There are seating plans for each exam. These will be on display outside the hall. There won't be labels on each desk, so please take care to ensure that you sit in the right place.
Early morning exams will start at 8:50 to make sure that pupils who are allowed extra time can have a break. If you have an afternoon exam, it has been agreed that students will be able to have early lunch - either in the canteen or off-site. It's important for us to start all exams at the times listed - please don't be late.
Please remember to bring in the equipment you need for each exam - this won't be given out before the start of the exam. At some point during your GCSEs, an examiner from the WJEC will visit. If an invigilator is absent from the exam room at that time, all pupils in the room could have marks deducted, so it is important to keep disruption to a minimum.
Behaviour and discipline in the Maths exams was very good. Please bear in mind that exam papers will be on the desk as you enter the hall and exam conditions will continue until after you have left the hall so there must be no talking at any time while in the hall. If you need to attract the attention of an invigilator, please raise your hand. Bags will again be stored in the LRC so you can leave quickly and quietly once the exam is over.
If you have any questions about these exams please do not hesitate to contact school.
Thanks for your cooperation and good luck with your exams,
