On Friday the 7th November we held our annual Assembly of Remembrance.

We were honoured to be joined by members of the British Legion and their standard bearers as well as our Governors. 

The Head Team led the service with an example from History Club's trip to the war graves in France and Belgium.

We also highlighted the school's poppy which brought us together in remembrance as a school community, past and present who have served their country.

A Year 10 student sang a beautiful solo rendition of 'Abide with me' and Hedd Wyn's 'Rhyfel' was recited.
