Ysgol Maesydderwen took part in the Swansea Valley Rotary Club's Youth Speaks and Quiz competition, held at Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera on 4th October.
Our Speakers - Anya, Rebecca and Dafydd, discussed Discrimination and the media's obsession with the perfect image. Dafydd was awarded the prize for delivering the best vote of thanks.
The quiz team - Alec, Daniel, Josh and Leon - were again victorious in the quiz and helped to ensure that we retained the Rotary Shield for the sixth successive year.
