Eight Year 11 History pupils attended the Senedd in Cardiff on Remembrance Day to participate in the 'Remembering War, Promoting Peace' conference.
They made a stirring presentation on the causes of WWI from a British perspective to other participating schools, members of the public and distinguished guests, receiving high praise.
Pupils were also able to hear presentations from members of the Welsh Centre for International Affairs and first hand experiences from survivors of and aid workers in current wars in Somalia and Palestine.
