Key Stage 3 Land Based Learning pupils had the opportunity for some first hand fieldwork last Friday at Crymlyn Burrows Wildlife Centre, St. Thomas, Swansea.
Activities included a nature scavenger hunt, meeting the local inhabitants and researching the history and development of the area. A fantastic experience was had by all the pupils and they are looking forward to their next Land Based Learning session Friday to implement their findings into our nature site at Maesydderwen.
A special thanks to Lea Reed for organising the visit.
