On the 26th January 2015 Ysgol Maesydderwen played Cwmtawe Comprehensive school in a friendly Badminton match following the success of the girls fixture last week.
There was a Year 7 team and Year 9 team playing. All the matches were of a very high standard. Cwmtawe boys, like Cwmtawe girls have made it to the regional finals.
Our Year 9 boys, who won the regional finals last year gave the Cwmtawe boys a shock to the system by winning quite a few of the games.
It was also nice to see some Ysgol Maesydderwen students come and support the boys!
