Year 11

During the Spring Term, our Year 11 learners make important choices about their future - this is called their 14 - 19 Learning Pathway. Many will decide to continue their studies at Ysgol Maesydderwen Sixth Form and some might proceed to College or a job with training.

Whichever pathway is chosen, we want to ensure our learners have the support and advice they need to make robust choices.

We are proud to announce the introduction of the Welsh Baccalaureate at Advanced Level in September 2011.

We strongly believe that this will improve the learning experiences of the students and will accredit a range of activities we already undertake in our Sixth Form.
