Welcome to the Sixth Form Page!

Pupils at Ysgol Maesydderwen are celebrating another successful year with some outstanding A Level results with all students moving on to the University of their choice for the second consecutive year.

The school has attained 100% pass rate with 69% of students achieving A*-C.  There were some exceptional individual results with some students achieving straight A grades.

We are very proud of our Sixth Form and we hope you consider studying at Ysgol Maesydderwen. Our Sixth Form Centre is part of a caring and supportive community where staff, students and pupils are treated with respect and where expectations are always high.

If you wish to speak to someone about the Sixth Form Centre, please contact our Head of Sixth Form, Miss Vanessa Jenkins, at the school.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening was held on February 8th.  If you'd like to know more about A-level studies at Maesydderwen, please get in touch with us!

We are proud to announce the introduction of the Welsh Baccalaureate at Advanced Level in September 2011.

We strongly believe that this will improve the learning experiences of the students and will accredit a range of activities we already undertake in our Sixth Form.
