The school library is open in the morning before registration and during the lunch break every day.
The library hosts a school quiz league and pupils can take part during lunch times.
The Spring Term league is now underway. To change things up a little, there will be more of a 'Krypton Factor' flavour this term (though an assault course in the library is highly unlikely). Quizzes will alternate with puzzles and challenges and the time taken to complete each quiz or challenge will determine the overall winner.
The winner of the Autumn Term quiz league was decided with a buzzer round finale on December 12th. After leading for a while after half term, a disappointing buzzer round (perhaps the choice of buzzer didn't help) meant that Ben had to settle for third place. Josh finished second and the winner for the term was Rhys Jones of form 8A.
Rhys and Josh played a special quiz - 'The Million Pound Drop' - on 16th December. While there was quite a bit less than £1,000,000 on offer, we were still relieved when they placed all of the money on 'Cobalt' when the question was: "Which of these is not a shade of blue?"
